Is Edith free?
Yes. Edith is free today. Some advanced features may become paid in the future, and we will tell you before any change.
Do I need an account?
Not to edit. Your projects are saved in your device's browser. To take a project to another device, save it as an .edt file.
How do I remove the background of an image online?
Open the photo, choose Erase background and use Automatic mode. To keep just one object, use Select object: click it, drag a box or paint over it.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The interface is built for touch, with pinch to zoom, and can be installed as an app.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
Editing happens on your device.
Which formats can I download?
PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, PSD with layers and the editable .edt file.
